Sometimes my Cocker Spaniel shivers. I thought it was because he was cold, but sometimes he does it when he breths in. Like a little shiver shimmer. I try to keep him covered cause I don't want him to be cold; could this be something else though?
It could be as simple has him being cold ,frightened or anxiety / stress or it could be more serious medical condition that causing pain like neurological or muscular or low blood sugar or low calcium or if he older it can be weakness I would take him to the vet a get a good medical eval and rule out any serious medical condition.
*just a side note small breeds and white dogs are prone to shivering with no clear explanation why the just do and it and it is not cause by any medical condition.
