Depro Provera Treatment Side Effects

I hope someone can help.
I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis. The Gyno suggested I start using the depro provera for treatment (injections once a month). I was already using the shot for birth control (once every 3 months) so it seemed like the logical thing to do.
This was the first month having them back to back. I got the shot at 10 in the morning and by 11 pm I was hospitalized in severe pain. I thought I was dying. The doctors were totally useless and accused me of only wanting drugs. They finally agreed and gave me morphine for the pain after I insisted I'd taken everything I could at home. In the morning the discharged me with a prescription for Tylenol with codeine (one of the things I'd ALREADY taken)
I've been out for a week and I'm still in a ton of pain and I'm having mood swings so badly I can barely take it.
I go from happy and laughing one minute to angry and crying feeling hopeless. I'm short with everyone.
I go from not being able to sleep at all to not being able to keep my eyes open. Not to mention the bleeding has not stopped
It's only been a week since I officially started the treatment and I'm not sure that I'm going to be bale to handle this.
Depression and Bi-Polar run in my family and I fear that I'm headed in that direction.

Has ANYONE had a similar experience or some advice?
I feel totally alone. My gyno said it's too far gone for surgery and without the treatment I will probably never conceive. He gave me  years after the treatment to be able to have a baby. I'm only 19 years old and hysterectomy is not an option right now.

PLEASE HELP.

So how does the doctor know that you have endo if you had no surgery?

You need to get a second option as I was also told that there was nothing that could be done and surgery wont help.

I researched online the best endometriosis doctor in my area and I found one.  He booked a surgery immediately because he thought that I had a recto vaginal nodule in which i did. Once he removed that plus all the adhesions that were glued to all my insides I have never felt better and all I take now is continuous BCP. Do not settle for what this doctor is telling you.

Also a hysterectomy is not going to take away the endo.  Some people it helps but for a large majority it does not and the pain and endo still come back.

I was on the Lupron shot after my surgery which is similar to the Depo shot. I went straight into a depressive state once being on it. I will never go on it again.  Thats just my opinion.
