Laparoscopy for Endometriosis with Interstitial Cystitis
I had a laparoscopy with bladder distention one week ago today. This has been my third laparoscopy for Endometriosis. I was on the third day of my period when I had the operation and finished it a few days after. I became extremely constipated for seven days, took Miralax, stool softener and did an enema. I was finally able to vacate the bowels after the seventh day. The pain from the gas is horrendous and now I'm bleeding as though I have my period, very, very heavy, which I only had my period last week. I have thrown up four of the past mornings, I sweat through my pajamas at night and have to change clothes and put a towel over the sheets to stay dry. Basically, I feel awful. I don't remember my previous laparoscopy surgeries to have this much pain, blood, nauseous, vomiting, hot/cold etc. Has anyone else had issues like this and do you think I should be calling my doctor today? I don't want to overreact but I really feel horrible. Any thought or advice is greatly appreciated.
