Since then, the feeling has gone further down my esophagus and I feel it every time I swallow. It feels as if there is some sort of ball down there or someone is putting pressure on my esophagus. Food goes down, my breathing is fine, I feel no pain, but there is this constant pressure every single time I swallow and even after. Sometimes it's better, sometimes I hardly feel it, but it's always there to some extent.
I spoke to my doctor and he put me on Prilosec, which I have been taking for two days now. It should be known that I have struggled with acid indigestion/sour stomach/bloating/etc. and occasional reflux for years. I am 25. The Prilosec hasn't done anything yet, and this is becoming more and more disruptive.
Like I said I am not in pain; however, I would like to know what this might be.
Thanks!
