GERD and joint problems and yellow stools

I have been treated for GERD with Prilosec for about 6 years, I have begun to have severe joint problems, I found out these drugs can cause this, I have tried to stop them but the symptoms are horrible, nauseau, yellow stools and upper right abdoman pain, I have also had some elevated liver enzymes, they are currently back to normal with the help of some herbs for liver support, I do not know what to do...seems like the doctors think I'm crazy, any advice is greatly apprecaited....

Hi,
GERD does not cause elevated liver enzymes. If the enzymes are 3 times more than the upper limit of normal, it has to be evaluated.

As far as the side effect of prilosec is concerned, joint pains though reported are not common side effects of prilosec.
