GERD or stomach ulcer or acid reflux?

I posted a much more detailed explanation in the public forum area, and i will do my best to summarize under a difficult 2000 character count. Basically, my stomach feels gaseous, it feels like it's on fire, and my lower/mid esophagus also feels like it's burning. I am constantly feeling nauseas during the day, off and on every 30 seconds or so, and at night time i experience this same off and on feeling of nausea however it is much worse. The feelings of nausea can only be described like waves, it comes and goes and each time it comes back it's worse than before, until i hit a "peak" that i am absolutely positive i am going to vomit, and suddenly they waves of nausea decrease instead of increase and i am left feeling how i did previously, with a burning stomach, throat, and slightly nausea (off and on). I am currently taking 3 40mg protonix a day.

I'm making an appointment to see a gastrologist come monday, but until then i have had several anxiety attacks and feeling miserable. Future thanks to any and all help i get.
