Silbostin Capsule

I am a HBsAG positive since 2000, few days back i went to consult a doctor , and prescribe me Silbostin Capsules 2 times a day for 2 weeks. I went to buy in a pharmacy,they told me its a dangerous capsules. So please tell me what is this capsules and is it the idea of taking this pills will help me? I am a 30 years old male.

Silbostin capsules contain silymarin.Silymarin is a mixture four different flavonoids. (Flavonoids are natural substances  found in fruits, vegetables, grains, roots, flowers etc).

These flavonoids have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic actions and are used as liver protective agents.They are commonly prescribed for alcoholic liver disease, cirrhosis and viral hepatitis.

Minor side effects like bloating, diarrhea, itching, headache and giddiness can occur.
