ALT Liver Enzymes Elevated

Hi,

I had a blood panel done last week and my Alt enzymes were at 46 and my WBC was 4.6.
Now I feel scared.  The doctor never mentioned anything about the WBC but wants to retest my ALT

Two questions.
Can your liver enzymes go up and down,
Can you have low WBC's but still be fine

These labs can fluctuate.  Yes, you can have a low WBC and still be fine. You can ask you physician if he can order another CBC(WBC) with the Liver Panel (ALT) so you can have a piece of mind.  I have had a low WBC before and was ok.  My physician just repeated it again after a couple of months.
