Help me please

I am hoping someone can help me.. About 4 weeks ago i started with a sore throat and ear ache.. about a week into it i started to feel a little better but had a cough that wouldn't go away.i finally decided i would go to the doctor but i woke up with vomiting and diahrea. I was in bed all day friday and then sat. i stayed in bed most of the day. On that sunday, my chest was hurting so bad that i went into the er and they said i just had a cold. a little fluid behind my ears but no strep or influenza. just the cold and flu. well..... i still wasn't feeling better 5 days later so i went to the doctor again. she said i had bronchitis, possibly strep, sinus infection and swimmers ear! (which i haven't swam in months!!!) and gave me augmentin 875mg twice a day and then some tessa (sp) pills, ear drops, and said to take claritin once a day. well the ear drops were not working at all and my ears hurt worse than before so they switched my ear drops.. and gave me robitussin with codiene since the plain robitussin was not doing the job and keeping me up all night.. (i was getting half hour of sleep a night) the new ear drops seem to be working but my ears still feel very full and itchy.. they feel like they hurt down inside the ear??? my cough is still in full gear.. about two hours after i go to bed, i am up coughing like there is no tomorrow.. i actually leave the room so i don't wake my boyfriend up its that bad.. in the morning, the cough isn't as dry.. i am not spitting up much mucus at all.. a few spits and thats it.. i am wheezing worse now than what i was two weeks ago... HELP!! i need advice on what to do.. will it get better on its own?? also.. i went through the freezing cold and then sweating stages too...

What about mucinex to thin the mucus in your chest. You may also need antibiotics for another week or so. Call your doc first tho.
