Went for periodontal cleaning day prior. Had been in severe tooth pain for 3 days. Had 2 antibiotic pellets inserted
into gums.
-was taking amoxicillan & hydrocodone before cleaning for 3 days

Woke up to kiss husband bye. Was laying on right side, lifted up left arm to do 1-armed hug and felt sharp weird pain in left shoulder blade. Was sleeping on left side prior. In severe pain ever sense.

Went to E.R on Oct. 3rd in severe pain. Dr. pushed down on head, moved arm around said shoulder was fine & dismissed. gave shot into hip (unknown). did nothing to relieve pain.
  diagnosed with muscle strain. Prescribed:
     Flexeril
     Amoxicillin
     Hydrocodone
Drugs offered no relief at all
Went to another Dr. Gave shot directly into shoulder (unknown) to stop pain. No relief. Perscribed Percocet (only drug that works)

Went back to Dr about 3 days later, suggested might have rashless shingles, Dr agreed & prescribed Acyclovir. 12 pills a day for 7 days. no improvement

-Severe stabbing pain along left shoulder blade, back arm, forearm
-Pain moves from shoulder blade, forearm, back arm
-spasms along left arm, back, shoulder blade, side until pain meds
-Can't sleep or lay on either side
                     *left side: pulling sensation/left ribcage
                     *right side: pulling sensation/left arm
-Skin very sensitive to touch on forearm/shoulder
-Fingertips started going numb/tingling on first 2 fingers/thumb.
-NEW: Tiny veins in 2 numb fingertips/thumb visibly poking out.
-NEW: Weird pain starting along left ribcage
-
Only pain meds that help:PERCOCET; Aleve (we're unsure if alieve actually worked.)
no relief:
Soma
Valium
Flexeril
Hydrocodone
Darvocet
Asprin

What kind of anesthesia was used?

The antibiotic pellets; what were they?

Yes, a chiropractor who knows how to deal with the elderly could help.  My chiropractor knows very well how to treat the elderly with adjustments.  She usually only uses the actuator instead of manually to the manipulations when dealing with the elderly, because the elderly have special needs and are more fragile than younger adults.  My chiropractor will allow the elderly to warm up with the heating pad to relax the muscles.  She does that for me, too, as that seems to be the only thing that works for me, too, even though I'm nowhere near to being elderly.

Sounds to me like a Chiropractor will easily be able to correct those issues.
Possibly get a cat scan or MRI of the shoulder and/or spine.  I TRUST Chiropractic care if it is a good one, not a simple run in & run out clinic.
