Temperature

When i wake in the morning, i usually have a temperature of 94.5F. During the course of the day it goes up to up about 97.8F. At that point i do feel what is similar to heat flushes and general malaise. I am a 35yr old male.

Based on the above scenario, would i be considered as having a fever?

It actually got up to 98.4 over the weekend. At that point i had Flu symptoms (slight headache, fatigue, running nose, slight sore throat).

Its been stable at 97.6 since Sunday evening.

Any ideas?

I too run very low temp. and when I reach 98 or above, I know I'm fighting infection of some sort. Hard to say what you could be fighting off, but would have thyroid checked first to see why your temp. is generally so low. Then, try and trace back where you've been over last several weeks. Any camping or hunting trips, any travel, etc. to rule out lyme, or tick borne illness.

I would say you need your thyroid checked, it sounds to me like you have a very sluggish one, called "Hypothyroidism" It is easy to check, a simple blood test is all they do, plus take a history of any other health issues.
