need to talk to someone about this please

hey, i have been having stomach aches and gas from both ends on and off since march, Ive recently went to the doctors about it and they thought theyd try me on some anti-acid tablets which i took for 6 weeks, but they havent seemed to help. Basically i get lots of gas stomach discomfort/aches and soreness some chest pains.
I am have been on medication since december for heart palpitations and skipped beats, which ive been told by my gp are bengin after having a echo-cardiogram, holter moniter, and several ekgs later. Palpitations are something i have had for a few years now, im 25 btw. Along with symptoms like aching knees/joints and cold hands and feet.
I was told by my gp alot of my symptoms could be anxiety, i admit i do get stressed but im still looking for answers.
The stomach problem seems to last maybe a couple of weeks then goes for a week or so then comes back it seems i'm really hoping for someone to talk to on here to help me de-stress about it and try and figure out what it is. I have have a appointment with my Gp at the end of the im wondering what to suggest to her?

To answer your question about diagnosis. We got diagnosed by getting tested through a lab called IGENEX. They specialize in lyme and co-infection testing. We all had negative tests many times until we were put on antibiotics as a trial to see if it helped. Not much changed. We got tested a few months later through IGENEX and our tests came back positive. Testing is very poor. Our doctor told us that sometimes antibiotic treatment can help jump start the immune system. Lyme disease will cause a weekened immune system and you may not respond with antibodies to the infection. Testing is based on antibodies. This is why most people with lyme come back negative or equivocal.

One last thing. If the doctor tests you and you come back negative you will probably be labeled with some kind of autoimmune condition, stomache disorder, arthritis or any number of other conditions. We were labeled with many different things. Many of our symptoms could not be explained. I hope this helps.

I want you to realize that it took us many years to get diagnosed. We were tested and all of our tests came back negative and doctors would not pursue this as a possibility. You have to see a lyme specialist to get proper treatment and diagnosis. You can get tested through you GP and maybe you will get lucky and it will come back positive. The problem there lies as to how the infection will be treated. They also don't test for co-infections like bartonella and babesia. If they do test for them and they come back negative they will say you don't have them. Testing for these co-infections and lyme disease is very inaccurate. So, keep this in mind when you go to your doctor. Your doc is not a specialist in lyme disease and will think it can easily be cured with a month of antibiotics. I can tell you that it can not be cured this way.
Realize that you do not have to have a rash to have lyme disease and that a tick can be the size of a pin head. I wish you the best. Please watch the movie Under Your Skin and you will help you see why you need to see a specialist.

You sound like me and my family. We were all diagnosed with lyme disease and a bartonella infection. You can get lyme disease in the UK. When your stomach issues flare you are probably going through a die off stage of the bacteria. This is what happens to us. Our symptoms are bad for a few weeks they get better then come back a few weeks later. It is like a roller coaster. I have the heart palpitations, stomach problems, aches and pains along with many more. Do you have any kind of rashes anywhere on your body? The lyme disease has effected my vegus nerve, this causes many different symptoms. I have abdominal pain on the right side that turns into a pressure like feeling, making me very gassy, turns into right shoulder pain, neck pain that feels like I have a vice around my neck then it turns into terrible pressure in my head. I sometimes develop a terrible headache or migraine. If you look into vegus nerve disorders including ones caused by lyme disease you can see why you are having problems. The vegus nerve controls just about everything in the body, your heart, cognitive abilities, lung function, swollowing, liver function, stomache and colon function. Lyme disease is likely the cause but I know a hiatal hernia could also cause the same symptoms. I am not sure a hiatal hernia would cause joint pain but it is still worth looking into. If you have any questions about lyme and how to get diagnosed, you can contact me.

a friend of mine advised me to drink a glass of warm water additionned with lemon... after getting out of bed... I did that, and few minutes later I end up in the bathroom for a complete flush down... wow.. i got scared thinking it will last all day. not, just once... no more gas no more burp.. do not drink soda. no bean or pasta for few days and see... drink plain flat water., there are herbal tea and mint leaves that you can have with green tee to milden your stomach.try soup made from scratch, like celery tomatoes cooked with water and a bouillon cube then in the blender or mixer.. try apple sauce, orange slices, banana, brown rice, chicken breast grilled or just in the pan with drop of olive oil... spinach in branches sauté with garlic and feta cheese in olive oil... and water... try this
