went to the doctor with swelling in face and neck glands was told i had an allergy and sent home.now the pain is so unbearable it hurts to turn my head or open my mouth. can the glands be surgically drained or somethhing.
Talk to your doctor. Ask the doctor about the possibility of it being mumps. If it is an allergy, you should ask your doctor to give you some allergy test, so you can know exactly what you are allergic too.
