Gout and knee support
Dear All,

My father 76 y/o has CHF.
Since he used lasix/deuretic last 5 months his gout is increase.
Can knee support help him from pain?
Knee support that I meant such as:

Hi there!

Yes, knee supports and anti-inflammatory medications would help relieve the pain. In addition medication that help reduce formation and increase excretion of uric acid and dietary changes such as lower protein intake may be helpful. I would suggest consulting an internist or a rheumatologist for suggestion of an appropriate management plan.
