Hello people I have had unprotected vaginal sex with a woman a few days later I got gonorrhea I got treated for it later I got so worried I took a test am still awaiting test results I had a neck pain in my neck jus last for 4-5days and pain in my hand arm pit that lasted 2 days  I develop ulcers in my mouth but they are disappearing atm am i going to be HIV positive

I will certainly let you know guys know by mid day today cause when I took my meds for gonorrhea a day after I felt cold 2 days after I felt stomach cramps loss of urine out put back leg pain and the symptoms keep going up and now there are decreasing slowly away

It is our social and moral responsibility to support and standby with those, living with HIV, however having said that, it is equally important for us to provide accurate and correct information on prevention, to those, not infected. This is the only way, we can play our role in controlling the rate of transmission of the infection.

One important point for you, treatment of HIV is neither cost effective, nor easily available in the third world countries, where major segment of world population lives and the risks are also high there. This is a global site and people from every part of the world come here to seek guidance, therefore we must keep this important point in mind also. Regards

I have learned my lesson of having unprotected sex but I have already done a test and am awaiting my results I pray god spares my life I won't ever do suck things again also can the drugs I took cause the side effects a week after treatment its azithromycin and ceftriaxone cause after I took medication 3days after I consume alcohol

and i hope everyone who lives with hiv have a good healthy life .. cuz i know its hard emotionally morre than physically but science is growing and there will be cure soon there is so many new studies since 2014

what i meant its not like it used to be 10 or 20 years ago When we thought hiv was like ebola .. now its way way easier to live with hiv than before because of the meds ..i know living with hiv hard but not as hard as it used to be before when there were no meds to stop aids and live way way longer

Symptoms do not mean much and often confusing and misleading. I tend to disagree with "Anxietysuck". It is still a big deal until medical science discovers  a cure for HIV. As of today, there is no cure for HIV, therefore cure is the only cure so far.

This post from Anxietysuck carries misleading information, like taking a pill,,,,, Living with HIV has never been easy, this is the reason, we all stress and emphasise on protection and care.

Since you had unprotected sex with someone of unknown health status, you exposed yourself to HIV risk. The only way to rule out the possibility is, to get yourself tested for HIV antibody/antigen Duo 4th generation test after 4 weeks of exposure, collect your conclusive report and move on with your life,,, Lesson learned,, never ever unprotected again with anyone outside your mutually committed monogamous partnership.

even if u are have postive its not a big deal like it used to be 10 years ago

you can take one pill a day and live normally and get married and make healthy babies... and never get aids

and btw gonorrhea transmit way way way way easier than hiv

and having unprotected sex with hiv postive woman  have chance of less than 2 out of 1000 to get hiv

so u need to have sex with her for 2 years at least

relax and i hope ur good

and prob the woman u were with didnt have hiv
