Hairy Leukoplakia

Hey,

I have had two white ridges going down the sides of my tongue for about a month now.  I just had a HIV test done and it came back negative. It has been about 3 months since I could have had any possibility of coming into contact with HIV. Is it possible for a person to show signs of OHL and get a neg result on a HIV test or does it usually only occur later in HIV disease?

Thanks!

If you tested negative at 3 months you are negative. Leave the white dots alone on your tongue before you cause further problems to your tongue. You tested negative, you are negative. Doesn't get any better than that.
