If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
I am a gay HIV negative guy. About 2 months ago I met a guy online and we established a friendship via online correspondence. I later expressed my desire to meet and spend some time with him and he agreeded by inviting me over to his place. He also told me there was something he had to tell me before we take our friendship any further. He then said he was HIV positive but has been undetected for a number years as he is on antiretroviral therapy. He said he became infected when his mom was pregnant with him. I was not prepared for this news and was taken aback. However, I like this guy as we have a lot in common. Even sexually we both have never had anal sex because we have no interest in that kind of activity. So even though I am a bit nervous about his status I still want to be with him.
My question is, what is my risk if I become intimate with him? If we decide to have sex it will be deep kissing, mutual masturbation and oral sex .
