PEP and drinks

I am currently taking Aluvia and lamivudine for a possible risk of HIV. I dont seem to have any side effects yet. I normally dont with medicines. But I am not planning on telling anyone. But my friends will notice if I dont share drinks with them when we are visiting. Will alcohol effect the drugs I am taking?

Drinking doesn't affect your HIV medication UNLESS you puke up your medicine. Then you lost your medicine.

I wouldn't take any alcohol just in case, I think that HIV would be the last thing on your friends mind, that you are refusing to drink!

I think he wants to know if having alcohol will have any effect on the medications he is taking.

Because if he DOESNT share the drinks, his friends will think something is suspicious
