Possibility for an HIV infection

Hi. To make the story short, i had sexual intercourse with maybe HIV infected person 2 years ago. From then i haven't been tested. I have a wife and we are having unprotected sexual vaginal intercourse for 11 months. She got tested for HIV 5 days ago and results came back negative (Non-Reactive). My question is, is it possible that even after 11 months of unprotected vaginal sex (more than 40 intercourse) her body somehow rejected hiv (if i am infected) or she is definitely negative and thus i am negative as well?. I will get tested anyway soon. Thank you for reading this.

That's what i thought so, it is possible but i guess usually unlikely to happen. I forgot to mention that while we were having intercourse we had chlamydia at some moment (now we don't) and i read that with that std it is more possible for her or me to catch HIV. Thanks for responses i will get tested definitely.

It's not uncommon at all. I have a good friend that her husband was positive for 7 years and yet she did not contract HIV. The ONLY why to know YOUR status is by testing.

Why do you say maybe HIV+...you really don't have a clue do you?

If you are positive is it possible that your wife could remain negative for 11 months??? yeah it is possible, but unlikely.

It is wise for you to test.

Her test results will never tell you your status. You need to test yourself.
