Hi guys. Just found this website. I thought I would put in my test two cents about unipolar hearing for the patients experiencing SSHL. (My story gets more complicated, more on that later.)
I had an aucoustic neurroma removed about 5 1.2 years ago. I functioned very well with one ear. It seems many people are thinking of getting devices to improve hearing from the deaf side. I would try working without it for a while. There are plenty or reasons for getting the BAHA etc. Sense of isolation, etc.
