Did your doc say you are still contagious to others?

No nobody else on here cleared hbsag by taking black seed along with the other supplements. Some actually went up.

I'm taking black seed as well nobody really say it will cure but history and religion talked about it so this post didn't mean to scam you but below is some key fact for a wide research I did on it:

1) Few research papers said it will help liver inflammation and protect liver
2) Islamic religion and Prophet Mohammed called it "habet al Baraka" which means in Arabic the seed of blessings.
3) I'm trying it myself and other members did my hbsag baseline from last year was 223 iu/ml and last month I did a test it was 147 iu/ml

Now you can argue if black seed was the cause of my decrease but personally I highly doubt it but will continue with what I'm doing and restest next August and see if my hbsag will continue to decrease. I will bring this subject to my Professor Lok in October meeting and will see what the science say about that.

Lots of studies on hbsag lower than 150 iu/ml with high clearance rate with PEG. Maybe its time to do it, I would at 150 iu/ml and under hbsag.

I'm using turmeric as well, vitamin D, mushroom pills, vitamin B2, arguiline

Will peginterfron effect my ability to work? I'm computer engineer and I travel to customer site a lot and the professor told me it might effect my quality of life. If that is not an issue then I will press more for it in our next meeting. Also my fear is since I'm slowly clearing what if peginterfron didn't work and caused hbsag to increase? not sure if this is a possibility but just can't find much info

I use peginf 9 weeks now and I work like before (computer job), sometimes I feel a bit more tired than usually, especially on the afternoon but some days I feel normal, I even went to the gym last week and done some light workout. I go to the party from time to time.
With such low HBsAg I would not hesitate to try peginf, but it's your personal choice, no one can guarantee you it's 100% safe. Why your doc has doubts about trying it at least 6 months ?
I've added BCAA to my supplementation, there is a study about liver benefits of this, it's cheap and safe, just sport supplement.
You may also try gcmaf, there are some posts about it on the forum.

Peg has harsh side effects in beginning but gradually it diminishes and then it becomes intermittent. Like one or two weeks U'll feel nothing then 3shot will shook u.
In the beginning I had intense fever, muscle pain then 3-4-5 shots joint pain plus shortness of breadth 6-7-8 mild flue 9-10-11-12-13
-14 vomiting nausea migraine abdominal discomfort 15-16-17 mild flue 18 again nausea and arthralgia and migraine(family history positive). Overall it will be uneasy to continue daily job for 1st few weeks then it will b ok after 6-7 weeks.

Ya will talk to professor Lok in my appointment on october 9th i will show her the hbsag result and see if she can put me on peg. She doesnt think it is neccessary for me for treatment and surprisingly not even ultrasound monitoring as she say my risk is so low. Im surprised to hear that from such a great and well known professor in hbv world

risk is very low but even people who lost HBsAg are monitored with ultrasound twice or once a year.

I think you will loose HBsAg on your own. As risk is also very low, it doesnt make much sense of taking medicine.

You see that is the debate in my head either wait one more year and recheck hbsag to see if still declining on its own or just give peginterfron a try. My fear is that im genotype D which response is not so good
