Platelets dropping

hello dear community,

iam now 18 months post tx and still SVR.

as some may remember i never did bounce back to the "normal" feeling, and still feeling sick.

i have my regular 6 months checkups(as iwas f3 or probably already f4) and my US is always fine,no focal leasions,no enlarged spleen....all normal.

but since finished treatment my platelets have dropped from an average 170-190 the past years,to 160 and i worried this trend continues.
my bili is still jumping up and down 1-2 mg/dl.
albumin is alwyas around 45-50,inr is 1.02.

my docs doesent seem to worry alltough i keep telling them i feel sick all the time, with pain in joints, and muscles.and no appetite.

any suggestions if this low platelets are a sign of portal hypertension, alltough my spleen is not enlarged.blood flow looks according to docs normal.?

apreciate any kind of input or opinions
marc

Sorry to hear you're struggling also.I guess I tested almost everything but nothing is showing up in my blood.
But I continue to feel sicker and sicker with everywhere.
In the morning it's o.k but as longer the days go the severe the pain and symptoms become.

Hi Marc

Sorry to hear hat you have this happening

I finished tx in Oct and I think I was same stage with you
After tx up to March my platelets went up to 150 but now they are 125 and I feel sick all the time. Ultrasound is good

My neutrophils also went down

My haematologist said to me that the drop is because of some immune reason although she did not mention what would that be

Have you tested for RA?

I have a suspicion that rheumatoid arthritis might be responsible for this symptoms
