5 weeks post early EOT

Just got my blood work result from last week, which was 5 weeks post early EOT.  I did 24 weeks SOC, gen. 1.  Decided to stop at 24 weeks after discovering I was receiving placebo + SOC in a trial.

My hemoglobin, WBC, etc etc are all back to normal.  I knew this to be the case because 2 weeks ago I suddenly noticed I was feeling pretty good.  :)

What I wasn't expecting is that I continue to be UND.  Not holding my breath for SVR, but I really was expecting to have a VL again.

Great to hear you're still UND!!!!

From what they've told me, you're still ahead using that PI rather than the two that are on the market.  I've been told that the side effects they are seeing are far less debilitating than the ones with the other two!

I guess it's all individual, though.  And still not fun.  :)

You really have the horseshoes up the wazoo!  I would say you were lucky to miss the "fun" of dealing with the real drug and I sure hope you remain UND.  That is incredible news.  I am somewhat jealous but still UND too (12 wk appt on Mar 16) so maybe you could find a pair of Canucks undies instead ;)

Glad I didn't listen to some of the advice I got here - to stop at 12 weeks because I was DET under 25.  :D

Okay, okay!  Won't change the Stanley Cup underpants!

Although, being in Toronto, I don't think I know where they are.

I wasn't there today, Will, last week.  I called today. :)

Hmmm....  My appointments are usually on Fridays but the last 2 have been Thursdays.  Justifies changing the next one, don't you think?  ;)

Not one to indulge in 'snake oil' but I've continued the vitamin D and started taking curcumin when I quit tx.  Not drawing any lines, just sayin.  :D

:)

Yes, indeed, I was DET under 24 at week 12.  UND at 18, 24 and now 28, too (which was really 29 because my appointment got pushed back a week).

Next VL is on April 13.  Which happens to be a Friday.  HAHA!

Maybe I should change that.  ;)  Can't be too careful, now!

Wow that is really good news, geno 1 and only 24 weeks of tx with just SOC... One would have to think since alot of relapses happen in the 4 weeks post tx you would have been one of them with only 24 weeks... Keeping those fingers crossed but this sure sounds great.
