Great!
I am Tada, new to this site.
My viral load is > 6 million and rising fast. Anyone have success stories with this load?
New to considering treatment. Is there a " latest and greatest" Tx plan out there?
hey, thanks for all the info on the blood count, going to argue a riba reduction if they push it, way too early and im really doing ok i am actually making it out the door and to work every day and doing what i need to at home, etc.. really dont think its going to be an issue... i am working with a nurse practioner and not my actual dr right now so if she pushes this im going to want to talk to him before i do anything... thanks again everyone, so glad this stuff is working !!!
Wooooooohoooooo!
Congrats, Sherry
Good stuff, great work! You're well on your way!
Agree with lydnda607 on the low WBCs... if your neutrophils are tanking, usually the call is reduce Interferon, not Riba, unless it's your RBCs taking a dive. This early in the game, though, dose reduction can be risky.
Sorry 'bout your friend Billy... but bet he's smiling and cheering for you from above! ~eureka
Congrats on the 4 wk UND - so many are UND at 4 wks it's becoming the norm, not the exception.
Low ANC would be cause for interferon reduction not riba reduction. Low WBC doesn't necessarily mean the ANC is low and interferon reduction is necessary. Neupogen is used to increase the white count and generally prescribed if the ANC drops below 500 but doctors have different thresholds as to when they think intervention with helper drugs is necessary. If the HGB is low, riba reduction is usually the first course of action with triple therapy but some doctors prefer Procrit over dose reduction.
Wow! This forum is popping w great news! First I was lol.. By the time I got to urs I'm crying. Omg! We are SOOO doing this! Xo Karen :)
thats so cool....good for you...billy
Isn't good news wonderful. :>)

Great news and some good stuff going on here. Hope everything is going well for you otherwise. Any options for neupogen for the low ANC or Riba dose reduction the only option.
Actually, I thought it would be an Interferon reduction for the ANC/WBC and Ribaviron reduction for a low Hgb. I hope others will jump in if I'm off on this.
Anyway, keep up the good work......
