Finished!!!

Hi all, took my last shot of Peg last week and last Riba pill last night.. I have been undetectable since week 2 and will get my 24 week PCR tomorrow. Special thanks to willbb - you informed me that I should be done at 24 weeks but my NP didn't mention anything - when I got her she said I couldn't get an appt with my doctor until sometime in January and I should continue with treatment until then. I went ballistic and called my Dr directly - I got to see him last week and he told me to just finish my meds and I'm done! I guess being on these meds for another few weeks means little to the nurses but means a lot to us.  Be well to all of us....Merry Christmass and a Hep C free 2012 to all....HO HO HO ! - Fred

Congrats!

When I asked my nurse about lowering the neupogen dosage, she blurted out,"I've never heard of anyone doing that."
In tears I emailed my doctor. Someone called me from the office and told me to cut the dosage in half.

We have to be our own advocates !!
Glad it worked for you.
