Hi ,I was here a bit back

Started my Hep-c treatment today,,,first shot,,,pills,,,,

Hi every-one,I was hear a few months ago,,waitng to get on treatment,
seemed like forever,,
So I just kinda hung back,and read the posts here and there ,,getting so much info--

Just to bring you up on stuff,I am Gale,live in B.C Canada,,
and have Geno-1a-

I feel pretty good,but my back kinda hurts,and I feel hot and dry----
I still do not have my numbers,but when I get them ,I will post them,&
maybe someone can make sence of it,.?

I hope to start getting more involved,find out who is doing well,.????
I think there was a fella that had just started when I first came,,,hhhmmmm down in Phuket,?or
Mallasia(sp)--hope things are going well,,,

Well I was biting on the bit to get going with this(TX),,,and now that it here,,on my plate,,yikes--
But I am sure this is going to kick my life out of park,or nuetral,,and get my *** going--,.,again,.,.,

Just got my hair cut short yesterday(less waight,fewer tangels,,and got a tooth pulled yesterday,
yyeeooch,,but I had No time for a root canel,,,
So maybe my pounding head is because of someone twisting ,and pulling on my Face--??
~~~~~Well,.,.,.,.,.
Plug our noises ,and Jump eh---------
Take care,,,,,,,Gale
Hi Gale.Congrats for starting yr tx.  Since I am the only one on this forum from Asia...I presume you were asking about me....I am from Indonsia not Malaysia or Phuket(which is in Thailand)....but I guess mixing countries up is ok on treatment as long as you dont mix up your shots or pills!
Thanks for asking and I am on shot 22/24....so just two more shots left Sides have been managable and wishing the same to you on your journey
Bug....hope you and your very funny sense of humor are keeping well! Are things reurning back to normal....since I presume you must now be 4 months after finishing tx?
I remember you too! I'm so glad you checked back in after starting tx. This was my life-line and I literally learned as I went here. So what numbers are you talking about? Beginning viral load, biopsy or both?
Was it Shastri that you are talking about? Thailand and Malasia are worlds apart (I'm very bad at geopgraphy, I had to google both) Shastri is nearly thru with his 24 week tx, I think.
well good luck, take care.
Good luck on your journey and know that many have passed this way before... the roads are known and you'll find the 'voices' that will encourage and assist you in your experience. i agree and wish there were a better path to follow but for now this is the plate. I like to tell people that we have their back and really try to mean it... sometimes there's odd things that happen but who could expect it to be different considering the meds that are necessary to make this journey. Good luck stay strong and know that likely what ever you are experiencing someone else here likely has some good insight on it to share and lighten your load a bit. But no matter what we do have to walk the path and you will find your cadence and be the better for it. I for one will be praying for you and believing that you'll learn what you need as you go forward. Stay healthy and active as much as you can knowing that will likely get a bit harder with time and then maybe get easier again as you balance out a bit. Take care!!!
Kit -  I go in waves.
I'll have 3 days of total insomnia - then I'll crash, then I'll sleep for 2 days off and on... and then normal for about a week - then back through that cycle or something like it.
It makes for an interesting household.
Hi Kit, I remember you. Welcome back, and best of luck on your journey to slay the dragon!  I finished my treatment Jun 8 (48 wks) and was also geno 1a. It's a little scary at first but you'll get right in the swings of things. It's a rough road for some but one thing is for sure...it doesn't last forever. Most of the folks I've talked with says it goes by fast and I have to admit it did for me. So, to paraphrase Motel 6, "We'll leave the light on for you!" Good luck and I wish you fair winds and following seas!
Hang on for the ride of your life.
It's not a fun ride --- but it is an experience. Prepare yourself mentally for all of it --- and if you have no sides --- WOOHOOO!
If you do --- know that most of them are normal - especially the depression part ---- Keep reminding yourself that "it's the meds talking --- it's the meds talking".
I found one of the best things to do is to journal your moods, your daily activities and your sides, if you have any.
That way you can have a running documentary.
There's a few here that are blogging - and I think that is a very fun, creative way to journal your experience.
Much hope - and much luck!
You're heading into the tunnel now ---- see ya on the other side!!!! You can do it!!!!
Remind yourself every single day that it will be over soon enough ---- even if it feels like a lifetime!
And keep COMEDIES rolling and laughter hooting!
Hugs,
Meki
  I am sorry that you have to go through tx. Believe me, I wish there was a different way. Alas there is not. I AM glad that you found this forum. There is a lot of support here by people in the know. Come back here often and keep us up to date on your tx.
Can you tell me which tx are you taking. There are a few, some better than others.
Good luck.
