I'm so happy for you.  I'm pretty new here but want you to know that in the year I've been posting here the information you brought to the forum helped me alot. I was terrified last February when I was diagnosed with Hep C, Cirrhosis, and a liver lesion that was rated  80% likelihood of malignancy- I had never even heard of Hep C and knew NOTHING about it.( I treated with Sovaldi/Olysio for 12 weeks and am 24EOT SVR as of Jan 21st)
Your posts in particular helped me to educate myself about my situation. And your wonderful fighting spirit gave me inspiration when I was so scared last year.
Thank you, and congratulations!!!!!!

Howie!

More tears of joy for you, here.  My husband just asked me what was wrong - I told him nothing, it is what is RIGHT!

I know this kind of thing is not something we 'earn', but, never mind that, you EARNED this!

Now please step up on that platform, and proudly receive the Insignia and Scepter as Commander in Chief  Supreme of Warriors and Dragon Slayers Above Supreme!!

You have been leader, inspiration, teacher, calmer of anxiety and dispenser of knowledge, not to mention role  model to all of us at one time or another.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I pray that your life from here on will be cancer free, full of love and joy and all good things!!

I can only imagine how overjoyed you and your dear ones must be feeling right now.  What a happy place you have struggled hard to reach, and seen a lot of sadness along the way.  May you revel in your SVR status, and always find deep joy in saying it, or repeating the letters in your mind.

Warm regards from another soul who you helped on your journey.

Well, I've been waiting to read this a LONG time. You kept a lot of people on pins and needles too many times.

Now that waiting is over. I'm happy to be able to tell you congrats, and thanks for your many excellent posts, and for providing a model for people to witness.

I think you are a great and amazing guy, and I'm REALLY happy for you.

And damn, if you didn't work hard for it too. : )

One day I hope to be able to buy you a coffee.

...until then old friend.....
