Red Palms

What causes red palms if you have Hep C?  Most of the redness is on the outside of the palm.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

many things cause red palms. advanced liver disease is only one of them. bottom line is red palms by itself doesn't mean you have cirrhosis. i wouldn't worry about it.

Are you assuming it has something to do with hepatitis C for some reason?

What is the status of your hepatitis?
What is the status of your liver disease?

The only one who can give you a real answer is a doctor. Get an appointment if you are concerned about a heath issue.

My palms have been red for many years and I am not cirrotic.  I was a 2-3 in 2008.   Maybe it could be a manifistation of cryo, vascuslitis.  Maybe some one else could offer more.
