i visited "Iridium" club few years back...Great decor and fantastic music.....ever been to Joe's pub??..
i just finished a $35 bottle and had NO affect on me??

Does sound good but that is the way they want it to sound. I am all for fruits and natural everything but really if you think about it if it cured as much as they claimed all the other meds would be out the door. Really it is probably good for you but like they said....awful expensive for no more what you get probably.
Or, as Rocker and Michael Jackson would say "Beet It".
Thanks guys, I'll save my 30.00 and enjoy a spot of tea, another problem I am having is my potassium level, toooo low, Doc said it better be up by appt. tomorrow, I've been choking down 2 bananas a day, and a glass of oj, any other ideas.
kalio I just read your post on antioxidant power drink how do you make that exactly . with ice? what type of berries? is there anything else I should add very interesting post does anyone else have a favorite recipe
It's a great smoothie especially on tx if your appetite is not great, you can get these down. I use frozen berries so they work as the "ice" I use a cup of berries, any type of berries will do, I use whey protein from Trader Joes, 2 scoops, orgaic vanilla yogurt, I use about 1/2 a cup to a cup, fresh nuts any kind, add other fruits at will, use any kind, and blend it in the blender.
yeah, I sure like my anti-oxidants all throughout the day, veggies, fruits, smoothies, and yeah, don't have to buy that expensive juice to get them...I'm just scarfing down some blueberries in a big fat cantelope right now...
the only thing I love about summer is the fruits and veggies...oh yeah, forgot I live in Los Angeles, so there are plenty of fruits, nutz and flakes too...
There you are! 57 Les Paul ! Have you got one?
I agree with you, that is the only good thing about summer..I too live in the land of Fruits and Nuts.
Put it this way, have one in my apt...I'm learning to play on a Danelectro (not very well either, though I did take lessons in violin in school)...it's interesting that you play and collect vintage guitars, and that NYGirl is a singer and picker from what I know, I wonder what other talents some members here have...Goof mows lawns, I know that...
Hope you invested in a good air conditioner...wasn't that you in the red jacket on the 405?
Last year it would've been, no more commuting for this kid. Yeah, the air is great.
I can't imagine that it's "better for you" than eating right and taking backup antioxidants and exercise and such...
There are so many snake oil products out there that I am now leery of everything and while this isn't a "cure" product it sounds so over priced to me that it just smacks of someone trying to make a buck.
And to me...I'd rather stick with the good old standards and keep my money in the bank. A good bottle of C & E doesn't cost all that much and lasts for months ;)
Oddly enough , if you look at a list of "celebrities" or well know people that have HEP C , you find most are musicians from back in the day. Hmmm , why do you suppose that is?
Danelectros are really cool old guitars that have been making a comeback since the late 90's. They were really not that well made , but the patented "lipstick" pickups have really drawn the attention of lots of slide players over the years. I have a 77 Les Paul I keep in my office because of , well , its a 77 Les Paul!!! (whispering... I really dont like them , but what kind of collector would you be without a Les Paul?)
Actually , last week I was in NYC and was able to see the great Les Paul and the Les Paul Quartet at the Iridium club in Manhattan. He's 90 now but still plays like he is a kid.
Play loud whenever you get a chance , I'm sure your neighbors will approve...
XanGo juice is only $13. at Sam's Club in Conroe Texas. 'Course I gotta drive 60 miles round trip to get there and with fuel prices - yeah, beets for me.
Yeah, but ain't it fun to sit in a Starbucks and read people all day? bad joke...yeah, that thing you spoke about regarding the tatto machine, and not just the needle....kind of made me sit up and take notice...well, guess if I was ever gonna do it, now's the time....while I'm still infected anyway....
I always thought that a nice tasteful Buddhist symbol by the ankle would be nice...and that ankle meat stays pretty firm as we "mature", unlike some other parts of the body (another bad joke) hope youre well...

Because muscians are known to take care of their teeth and they visit dentists more than other people?
Because musicians visit unregulated nail saloons on a regular basis?
Because musicians have more medical procedures than other professions?
Because musicians love the great outdoors and expose themselves to mosquitoes?
I give up, tele. Please give us the answer :)

Keep it under your hat but I heard that dang Xango juice will give ya the hep....
Yup. This discussion group proves not to believe what you read in the medical literature. Seems about no one here got hep c from IV drug use, transfusions in the 80's, or sex. Maybe that Xango juice is the real culprit. Is that the same as red Cool Aid :)

ooooooh, so the truth is finally out!!!! Youre THAT Jim!! Jim Jones!!!! ha ha ha! I knew you had just a little too much charisma for your own good, ha ha ha!
Hope I didn't give you the impression I'm a good player, far from it, just dabbling really...don't know if I have the patience or the determination to really play well...but I like collectors of all types, whackos that we are...and I know some...Art, comic books, books in general, movie posters and posters of all types, LP's, 45's, I know some people who collect Barbies for crissakes, ha ha! I guess it's about going back to a kind and friendly place, before Hep C, all of it...I'm glad that you have the interest in playing and watching live music, even though youre treating...that's really good....
Yeah, you wouldn't believe how many well known actors have it, besides musicians, it's just too bad that we are relegated to a place more unhip than even AID's patients, so stupid...I blame the society in general as well, it's all about being young and healthy in the media...many people don't want to know about it if youre sick...I read a good essay on this by Richard Rodriguez if anyone's intersted, he talks about being on the "other side." You just can't know about it till you've been here...and it does make you pay more attention to grace and beauty, small tender mercies...people that think beyond these types of barriers...and there are many....
Time wil tell if all those "young and beautiful" people getting all those tattoos end up with Hep C from them. I think the risk is much more than they are led to believe. There is no checkin going on and very little being done to ensure the facilities are even following proper sterilization procedure. Tattoos have increased 10 fold in the last few years.
"I give up, tele. Please give us the answer :)"
Jim , I'm totally suprised that you dont know the answer to that question.
Its because we were always broke and we gave blood on a regular basis and the Red Cross , yeah thats it, we trusted the blood bank and they let us down by not using sterilized equipment. Thats the absolute truth.
Jeeesh . I guess you thought it was from intravenous drug use.
