I've got nothing to contribute medically, except what was stated above~ contact your doctor. I do however really care about what you're going through. It's sounds very painful, not likely to just go for a walk, tho grateful others were. I just want you to know, I'll be praying mightily for you~ healing, transplant, dr.'s wisdom & quickly!

In deep care,
Randy

Call your transplant center now!
Let them know what is going on.
(You should always notify the transplant center of any changes in your condition).

If you cant reach anyone, go to the emergency department immediately!

If you don't go to ER of your transplant center make sure that the ER people are aware that you are LISTED FOR TRANSPLANT so they contact your transplant center before doing and treatment or procedures.

Wishing you the best!

You should listen to your body.  Go to the ER after notifying your liver transplant team. Tests will be run that hopefully will determine the source of your pain.  Do you have fever?  If so, you may have an infection going on.

Keep us posted. We care.

Your question points to a condition so serious that only a doctor~your hepatologist, can answer.

I had ESLD and came close to death prior to my transplant but I never experienced pain that prevented me from moving. In fact, I kept walking everyday that I had an energy and think it helped keep me in better health.

I must say that I was on a strict no-salt diet which helped keep the ascites ( the cause of your swollen belly) at bay.

All I can suggest besides contacting your medical team, is to try some warm baths and gentle massage. I took diuretics to help with the ascites but really, your transplant team should be helping you.

Good luck,
