Can't sleep please help could this be herpes

Please help I can't sleep. I have a herpe scare I am freaking out about. I had a drunken encounter protected but at one point noticed condom had broke. Changed to new one but there was a time unprotected. This happend on a Monday morning about 6:00 am. Then on Wednesday I was just changing and noticed on my front thigh I had maybe 12 little pimple ingrown hair looking pimples all have a hair in the middle growing out also was a little red around each, I have no other symptoms. They didn't really hurt I only noticed them because I looked down. Some are just red around a hair others have a small Zit like puss around hair. On Wednesday after seeing them I did go to doctor he didn't think it was herpes and gave me an antibacterial cream for it, but said he couldn't be sure without tests He did a blood test it just hasn't come back yet. Also I did the Clamitia and gonaria test they came back negative already. A little back story is I ran a half marathon on that Saturday before and wondering if it could be ingrown hairs from chaifing, I just didn't notice until Wednesday.
I have been freaking out and not sleeping. It is now Sunday and most of it has cleared up. The ones that where bigger with the puss are now just red spots.
I call the doctor everyday to see if results are in and he always says no call tomorrow.

Your risk was very minimal and having a primary outbreak on your thigh would be very very rare. I doubt very much you just contracted hsv on your thighs. Add in the hair growing out of the lesion and the way you describe what's going on does not make me suspect hsv at all
