Herpes?

I had sex with a girl recently twice in the same week.  She swore she was tested and clean.  It was a Saturday the first time, and the next Thursday.  On on that Sunday I noticed some scattered small red bumps in my pubic hair above the penis.  I immediately thought: herpes!.  Ok, no other symptoms.  Very minimal itching (twice for just a minute since)  It is the next night right now (Monday) tomorrow morning I am going to the doc.  A couple months ago I shaved my pubic hair with electric clipprers (not a razor).  The sex I had was her on top and there was a lot of friction.  She also said that a guy who slept with got similar bumps, which turned ou to be staph.  So I am hoping this is just some form of folliculitis.  Would initial herpes show up in the pubic hair?  The bumps ar very small, don't look anything like blisters.  Also, they seem to be fading already a bit, not sure.  I also spent a day last week watching porn online and playing with myself while dressed.  A lot of pre-cum soaked that exact same area and my boxers.  I do have signs of candida growth (athletes foot and itchy skin).  The little bumps are already a bit faded, only after a day, and are not getting worse or painful or forming blisters.  I don't have a fever or malaise, altought I felt a bit run down two days after my the first day I was with her.  She said she got tested in two months ago and was negative for herpes. What do you think?

anything that goes away in a few hours, isn't std related and not something to worry much about.

The bumps are not really bumps.  The one that was still there and got redder is flat and just looks like healing skin.  The other one is tiny and already is going away in just a few hours. I don't know what to do now.  My doctor wasn't much help- didn't even bother to take a culture when I had all the first spots.  I am not going to go back to him until the 3 months has passed (it's been one month so far).  The itiching in my urethra is gone- only was there for four days.  The burning has only been for three days and is gone.  I am going to be abstinent in the meantime.  Hopefully at the end of May I can get another full STD panel, including blood and urine for herpes, gonnorhea, clamydia, trichomoniasis, HIV, syphillis.  I'll let you know the outcome.  Thanks for being there for us.

Hello Grace,
Could you give me some advice?  As described above, I had what the doctor thought is folliculitis in my pubic hair about an inch above the penis (about 30 bumps, not next to eachothr but close.  There was also three other little bumps a couple inches apart up near my lower abdomen. I was afriad of herpes.  The bumps went away after two weeks, except for one, which faded then came back (I scratched it and now it is much redder).  Then one more timy bump with a hard center (about 1mm) appeared up on my lower abdomen/top of pubic hair yesterday.  Five days ago, my urethra started itching inside in the middle of the penis, then near the tip.  There has been a very mild buring sensation when I pee, on occasion.  The iching is now gone, just before that second little bump appeared.  I still have no discharge, no swollen glands and no fever.  The little bumps don't neccessarily have a hair coming out- more like in between the hairs.  Does herpes show up where the pubic hair is?  One website says no.  Could these be folliculitis like the doctor said and maybe come back after fading away?  Could it be staph or some other type of bacterial or fungul infection?  I have to wait two more months to get an HSV test done, I think (three months from initial contact?).  Please let me know what you think.  I also think the itching in my urethra could be gonorhea or chlamidia (I started another post in the STD forum to ask about those, and didn't get much advice)  Thank you so much

Hello,
So I saw the doctor yesterday.  I told him my circumstances and upon examination decided to treat me for folliculitis from staph.  He said there was nothing to culture because the little red bumps are not blistering or having any discharge.  I also have no penile discharge or urinary pain, and no tenderness in the glands.  He took some blood, but I know it is probably too soon for it to show up on a blood test.  to remind you, the bumps are in my pubic hair, some in the same general area, and then maybe six others randomly acorss the base of my stomach.  The sex I had was kinda vigorous and her on top with a lot of friction in the pubic region (I hope my frankness is ok). They have only itched for just about five seconds three times in the last three days, and maybe feel a bit of a sensation, but not what I would describe as burning, maybe tingling.  They have also started to fade, and they have only been there for three days.  I am figuring the only thing I can do is wait three more months and do another blood test.
I did have a false positive once, which freaked me out.  The IGG was 1.13, which I found out was very low, and so I tested again three months later and tested at .84, which is negative.  Now I am back worrying about herpes again.  Hopefully I won't face that same challenge again.  Thank you for any help you can offer me.

seeing your provider is the best thing you can do to find out what is causing your rash.
