If you want to put the herpes issue behind you then have a blood test. But having pimples and bumps on the cheeks is very common bacterial irritation. Sitting down causes rubbing irritation issues then add some perspiration and tight underwear and pants leads to issues like that.
So I keep having red bumps appear on my cheeks, I went to my doctor and he said definitely not herpes. But I did take valtrex for a week from my gyn. no help. Can they be wrong is this how an outbreak is? Am I just over paranoid about herpes?
Yeah, does not sound like herpes to me at all.
Thank you for your help I really appreciate it. I have been going crazy
The average outbreak lasts about a week or so from appearing, scabing over and healing and to have them appear on your thigh and vaginal area would also make it appear not herpes related.
Thank you so much and I have just become so paranoid I am constantly worried. But this has been going on about 3-4 weeks now wouldn't an outbreak be much shorter? Would sores show all at once or at least 1-2 days not weeks
Hi, from what your describing your irritations appear more bacterial related like a simple pimple and having them appear after shaving would certainly seem related to that act more than having a herpes outbreak. Have a blood test to confirm if infact you do have herpes but your concern here with the symptoms mentined really dont appear herpes related.
With those with long term herpes, outbreaks almost always occur in the same spot give or take an inch.
