concerned

I was in a relationship with a girl for a while and the last time we had sex (unprotected, several months ago) it was very rough. The next day I had several (5-6) small blisters in pubic hair, just above my penis. The blisters were very small, filled with a clear liquid and did not hurt. They did however itch. I didn't really think much of it since I we had been together for a while and I had never had that happen before. I thought it could be from the rough sex (a lot of friction) and/or a combination of shaving my pubic hair. However, since then I have stopped shaving, and to my surprise I have had a couple more blisters appear in my pubic hair... I popped them and put rubbing alcohol on them to dry them up and they heal in a couple of days. I have an appointment to see my doctor and get an STD test, but everything I have read at this point lead to herpes. I am over analyzing this? I am just concerned...

I would stop popping whatever it is so that you do not spread the virus. It could be herpes, it could be Molluscum. But, definitely get tested.
