Hormone Supplement

I am 34 and had a "complete" hysterectomy 1 year ago. My questions is should I be taking prescribed (premarin) or should I change to herbal supplements?

Your thoughts and thanks in advance==bt

I am 32, had abdom. Hyst done 2 years ago.  I had hormone implants after Hyst and did not take any supplements ever since then.  I now have gained 10kg in 4 months and Hormones low:  174.  Went for hormone implant Nov. 2007 and going again in Feb. 2008.

don't wait until your hormone levels drop to low.  Rather have blood tests done every 6 months and see if you need any supplements.

I prefer the implants.  Gynae belief that pills only works 50%.

Hi,

I have posted quite a bit of information recently regarding bioidentical hormones...but, also info on several very good books that I still use for reference.

Hope you can get some relief. My profile gives more information....and I have tons of old posts (under My posts...or Posts...in my profile) if you want to take a look there, too.
