What are you all doing for the weekend?

Swampy is going to try and get some shopping done, and order some supplies for the house.

Weekend half gone... went to work early Saturday, hurried to finish a project, tried to goof off to run some errands and when I just wanted to get a haircut, my son called and asked to get picked up, about 24 hrs earlier than I thought. I had planned to go to an all-night event downtown when most museums stay open all night - but here I am back home: played some board games with my son instead. Went to bed early and today we will stroll along the river banks in the neighborhood and gather some driftwood. And when there is time for me only, I will give my punching bag in the backyard a workout and do some drawings later. Typical weekend.

This weekend, I'm trying to prepare for a job interview and watch TV.

Hiking in the nearby Wilderness preserve , painting , planting some rocks into a rock garden I am creating and making a but of a pigs ear of.!

Answer all my emails, visit a few communities of medhelp....Open up a nice bottle of wine and listen to some music. I'm just gonna chill this weekend. Had alot going on so I can use the rest.

Football, football, and more football .. when is football season over for my son .. OH .. Thanksgiving, that's right.  But, they won!

Good to have ambition Trudie.
I am on a steroid buzz from chemo yesterday.  Must accomplish chores and eat (altho nothing tastes good) because tomorrow at around noon I will crash and burn.  Then hibernate for about 36 hours.

I'm in an organizing and cooking mood so must take advantage of it!  I am cooking food ahead for next week, going to IKEA for another pull out pantry, and then totally reorganizing my kitchen and my clothes closet.  Odds are I might get 50% of this done :)

1. Free Bruce Springsteen concert & Obama rally this afternoon
2. Street Fair (October-fest) this evening
3. Another October-fest event tomorrow
