irregular bleeding

i am 41 years old ill be 42 this december i have 1 child and im haveing 2 full periods a month this has been going on since last october went to the dr and had a pelvic ultra sound done no fibroids no thyroids no cervical or ovarian cancer could i possibly be going thru menopause?

Hi,
Excessive bleeding is not a feature of menopause. There has to be an underlying cause like hormonal imbalance, endometrial hyperplasia, blood disorders etc. This can be easily treated with medications.
