It's too bad they don't have a team of diagnosticians at EVERY hospital, like the group on "House." All symptoms worked out then and there, until a diagnosis is made that makes sense. If only to dream...... Wouldn't it be great?
Did you watch House this week? I could so relate to "needing to know" what is wrong . . . not to the point of needing a gun . . . yet : )! Have you ever noticed how often MS comes up in their early explorations of a diagnosis?
Sherry
I see my neurologist on the first and I sure have alot to tell him. I have not seen him in 6 months. I am at the point I might just ask what he is thinking my diagnoisis is and that is why I am paying him for! It will be 2 years in May since My Episode I call it!
When you find Dr. House, please let us all know where he is! I don't know exactly how many dr's I have been to, without a firm diagnosis. One that doesn't change each time they send me to a different dr. Sometimes I feel like they are just playing with my mind, to see how much I can take! Oh well, maybe some day I can leave my body to medical science, and a new intern will say "Yikes, I know what she had!" LOL

Lynette,
I agree. When I watched it this week and he was held hostage by a patient that had been to 16 drs and couldn't get a dx, I thought of all of us here in limboland.
I'm sure some of us, Richard, for sure, would love to hold someone hostage to get some answers..........hahaha
I guess we all just have to be tough and keep going until we find the right dr, I know they are out here cause some here have had good luck finding them.
I hope you find Dr. Right soon, keep in touch and let us know.

Lynette,
It is so hard to find the good doctors for most people - I've been really lucky and have several keepers. I have only thrown one PCP back into the pond. Good luck with your search for House. Lulu
