I do get this from time to time due to my MS.
Here's and old thread on this topic:

I will keep ya posted. I see him on the 11 of June, so, will be posting about it. It has been a problem for me for about 1 year now, and some days it seems ok, but if I chat to much, or visit to much, it is hoarse quickly, and stays that way for awhile.
My neuro has pointed it out, and my GP as well, so he is the one that sent me to the throat Dr.
take care,
Candy
Huh, that's "interesting" I just got diagnosed about a week ago so some of this is so new, I've been reading about how we shouldn't attribute everything to MS so I wasn't sure about this. I have an appointment next week so I'll mention it too. I'd love to hear what your doctor says too though.
Hi, yeppers, I was told it is MS, and I am gong see a throat Dr. on 11 of June because of it, I will postwhat happens.
I was told that MS can affect our vocal cords, and if that is the case then there supposedly can be something done to help.
Will again post when I find out...
