Mytoxatrone ???

this is the chemo drug that is suggested to people with secondary progressive MS, and it is supposed to help slow down the progression.  Has anyone here ever heard of, or taken this drug.???

It scares the be jeepers out of me, and I think it would be a last resort.

I guess I'm vain too, cause I don't want to loose my hair, and if I was fighting cancer it would be a different story, but I have to know for sure, what this could or would do to me....

Tysarbri is something that I have to look at too, and I know that there are alot of you out there that are on it, and doing well, and I think that might be the way to go, but with Secondary Progressive
MS, somethings don't work........

or that is what I am told to believe, but I don't know, so.... here we go again, fishing for knowledge ...

thanks guys,
Candy

Candy, see your previous post when you asked about cancer drugs to treat MS.  I responded with what I know about mitoxantrone and its risks and side effects.  I was never on it but it was a consideration at one point.

I have SPMS. I have been on Tysabri since my initial DX in October 2011. I have all my hair.
