Accckkkkk!!!!! Phantom itch is driving me nuts!!!

I can deal with the sudden fatigue. The occasional dizziness. The muscle pings, twitches and heaviness. I'm doing ok with just blocking that out and going about my day as best I can.

But, this phantom itch...on my shoulder blade no less, so I can't reach the stupid spot, it going to drive me crazy!

Ahhhh, thanks for letting me get that out :-)

I used have the exact same itch. I bought a backscratcher  to scratch the area which actually didn't do much since the area was also almost numb so scratching didn't have as much physical relief as a mental one.  I felt at least I was trying to do something about it.

Hopefully this symptom won't last too long. Sending you a long distance back scratch.

Just wondering - would a heat pad or an ice pack change the sensation at all?  Wish I were close by, I would scratch it for you!

I used to get those types of itches on my shin - the more I itched, the worse it was.  I couldn't' scratch enough to relieve it.  Fortunately this was not from MS, but dry winter skin.  Moisturizer always helped to quiet it but it wouldn't go away completely.  I don't know why I'm telling you this story except to say I understand that itching that drives you crazy.

wishing you some relief, and soon!
