And even more Grrrrrs!

For the last 3 days I have been trying to get an appointment at the VA. At first I would call after after the number rang for a dozen times I would get diconnected. But later on that first day the phone was answered with a message stating they were having trouble with their phones and computers and could not help me. Each day while the message has been pretty much the same kind of message, it was different people with differnt wording. How long does it take to fix a computer or phone? Also how do you loose both phone and computer at the same time since they are separate systems at the VA?

too bad Dennis. that can be very frustrating.

you wouldn't believe the black helos about my place. happens when you get mad at the VA. you knew that didn't you? if i were you i'd run for the hills. you ever wonder if those doctors at the VA are really doctors? ;-)  you probably should sweep your home for extra electrical energy pulsing about.

anyways, i was trying to be funny to cheer you up. u hang in there. someone will answer the phone.

i don't know which is worse, the VA person that answers the phone who pi$$e$ you off more, or no one answering at all?

Thanks for the laugh :) I really needed that today. It does some times feel like they know you are calling. Especially when you know they are getting a caller ID like the VA does.

They know it is you calling and they took all the phones off the hook so you would get that dreaded busy signal.  LOL

Seriously it is infuriating when these glitches happen. YEsterday  I tried to pay a hospital test bill via the phone after the online system would not take my money.  I was on hold for almot 10 minutes listening to really cr appy muzak and infomercials. Finally it stated ringing on the other end and I thought I was going to be connected to a real person.  Wrong.  The new connection told me they were sorry they couldn ot handle my call and then hung up on me.  Argh!!!  I had to start over again from the beginning.

  I am so sorry. The phone systems are automated so computer and phone is connected. Sounds more like they are slammed and it is a delaying tactic. I hate bureaucracy.
