MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS COMMUNITY
I am so depressed...

I am so depressed...

and i didnt even know I was going to be depresssed.  This is just a rant ..

I had a TEE test yesterday, I have mitral valve stenosis, not a problem for like 3 yrs now but now it is not good at all.

The doc who did the test said to call him today and he would let me know the test results.....i called and he is gone until Tuesday. So why do they tell you to call them ??

And my cardiologist is on vacation til the 19th, bu I already know that.

So now I get to just do the "guess game" for awhile...I hate Drs !!

But this is just another piece in the puzzle as to what is gping on with me....its very confusing.

thanks for listening, meg

Meg, do your best to put this aside for the weekend.  Doctors speak so often without considering the patient's perspective.

So sorry to hear that they are looking at other health issues for you.

Meg,
I am so sorry that yo have to wait over the long weekend to get your answers! Waiting is the worst thing in the world!! Perhaps  the TEE showed no change and there was no urgency to call you. Hang on that thought.

Talk care of yourself during this awful game of 'wait and see'. I can definitely empathize with you.
Hugs,
Ren

I am sorry Meg. I understand how you feel completely. I am ready to walk away the whole medical thing sometimes.

I was just on the phone with my PCPs nurse and frustrated about getting a script we have been going back and forth since Wednesday. It is like that telephone game you play as a child where you whisper something in someone's ear and they whisper it in the next person's ear around the circle and when it gets back to you it is completely different. The nurse says the Doctor wants me to come in more often. The last time I went in the Doctor said "Why are you even here" I said because your receptionist told me you wanted me to come in". She is so busy it is not funny. I just called them back and told them to forget the whole thing that I like pain I really do.

I know all about the phone games, Alex.  I had a test  a little over a week ago and the lady said the Dr would have the results the same day, my Dr. said 3 days and later that week the receptionist said 7 days.  Good thing it was my favorite Dr's office,

@Ren, no, the first echo showed that it was worse, that why I had the 2nd test and he did indicate the mitral valve had closed a lot more, like it was very tight.

love, meg

Meg,

Sorry to hear about your testing, I didn't know it had worsened. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
