Trust me you need to take a deep breath then exhale, etc. Where you are can feel like Alice dropped down the Rabbit Hole.
It may turn out to be something simple may be not but a lot of us have been through a long process and are here to offer support. You are not alone.
People can similar symptoms for many conditions.

Thank you. I have so many things that can point right at ms or other things that I can see why this dx. Is so difficult. My body feels like it is in revolt. Has anyone had the problem with stiffness in the neck which leads to a pinched nerve?
Susan
Hi Susan and welcome to the forum here. If you don't already know thise, you may quickly learn that an MS diagnosis for most people is not a simple and fast thing -the sympotoms of this MySterious disease are mimiced by many other things, and it truly is a diagnosis of exclusion.
That means the doctors have to rule out everything else before they can suggest that its MS.
While you wait through there tests take some time to learn more aboutMS - an educated patient can participate in the discussions with the doctors so much better.
Good luck with the next steps.
be well Lulu
Two attacks in different areas separated by more than 30 days. I guess all they need to do is rule out the mimics. Activity on an MRI will support the diagnosis.
A positive MRI is not required by the protocol, but most neurologists want to see some kind of demyelination on MRI to make a diagnosis.
