Hi,
Just popped in to see how peoples are going. So glad to see your update and that you are in training for a very challenging position, and sounds like you are managing, despite the vertigo.
Glad you are doing good, and that your internet is finally sorted out.
Merry Christmas.
Sally

Hi Mama Z,
Thank you so much for this update Zilla. I've missed you so. I hope your home is filled with magic and that it works over your vertigo and makes it disappear for good! I cannot imagine what that must be like.
I think of you so very often, and could not be happier to read this, this morning.
Merry Christmas Sweet Pea, but please come back before then.
Love you much,
Shell
Hey, there! It is mightly fine to see you back. I'm thrilled you are training for a position that will have less walking. That should help a lot. Bed control is a stategists nightmare, though. It will keep your brain well exercised.
Antivert did zip for me. The scopolamine patch was better. A steady dose of clonazepam is what finally got me threw. Good look. Vertigo really affected my ability to solve problems.
Christmas at my house is always magic, too. This year we will have the entire nuclear family (6). Music and the gynormous treee we cut down. It is magnificent and seems totally bejeweled this year. My sis decorated the betweedle out of it!
Kathy - you are going to have to watch that...I don't think sex is supposed to cause TMJ problems.
Think of us if you leave the house. We are blizzarded in today.
Stay with us, now.

I'm so happy to hear from you! I was hoping you were just too busy to post. Doggone Comcast and lousy vertigo!
I used Scopalamine patches once when I had vertigo in about "88; do they still use 'em and could they possibly help if the Ativan doesn't. I'm glad you're able to keep up with work and I'm sure do an excellent job while dealing with the sx.
I've been decorating the tree today, and love the little lights and the ornaments that are like old friends. I haven't been doing any holiday baking, as my physical therapist wants me to try a soft diet for a week to see if it helps what she thinks are sx from a TMJ issue. Next week I'll make up for it, bake Rocky Road brownies, and something with ginger and other spices in it! Maybe some fresh bread, too; nothing smells quite as yummy to me.
I think I'll put on some Christmas music (I'm home alone in the snow; my roommate is in town in my apartment so she can make it to work) while straighten up and decorate the townhouse for when my roommate's family comes up to visit next week. I'll be staying in my apartment then, and then Jan.1 I head for two weeks in Maui !!!!
I've really missed you. I'm glad you're back and hope you have time to check in with us now and again.
Hugs,
Kathy
Hello! You sound busy but happy with it. You should ask for at least another MRI if it will have been 8 mos, I think. Sorry about the vertigo. Vertigo *****.

I am so glad you are back! Ive missed you here. I hope the vertigo goes! Lynette
I can commiserate on dealing with internet providers too. Our internet and phone service went out (Verizon) and they said it would be 3 weeks before they could get someone out there to restore service. Our whole street was out of service. We have a very influential political figure living amongst us and not even he could get them to move up the repair date. Hmmm....we are all at the mercy of these people aren't we. Well, it is good to see you are reconnected to phone/internet service and to us.
I'm sorry to hear about the return of the vertigo. Is the Ativant helping?
You take care Zil, and stay in touch when you can.
Julie.
P.S. Thanks for your note. It was so good to hear from you.
Hi zilla,
Its great to hear from you - the no-service thing on the Comcast account had to have been frustrating but I hope you used your time wisely for other things (like sleeping or studying!).
Good luck with the new position - I can't imagine make those decisions day in and day out. I've been on the other end, stuck in the ER overnight because they couldn't find me a room. Now I know you are the position I can be grumpy about ! :-) Seriously, the job sounds very challenging - enjoy every bit of it.
Be well, Lulu
