Who we are ....

is a caring community that is open to everyone - whether diagnosed or not.  Period.

We are a haven for people with MS, people with neurological problems or simply an interest in MS to gather and share information, to share questions, and even sometimes celebrate the joys in our lives.

This is a community of strangers  but also closest of friends, who understand what each of us are going through in a most intimate way. It is from this sharing that we fortify ourselves on this journey.

What we aren't is a community who will be torn apart by negativity - we deal with enough of that in our daily lives.

Words sometimes come back to bite us in a most unexpected way - I know that because I've recently done the same in a professional situation that I now have to resolve.  I've read the words here that have caused some to be hurt, some to feel the need to defend, and others to simply wonder what is going on.

I hope that this community also is wise to move on and let the words fade.

We have so little time here and so much to accomplish; focusing on the negative takes away from those goals.

It is my hope that this finds all of you well, willing to take a deep breath, letting go of the words, and getting back to doing what we do best - supporting each and every one who comes to this forum.

Peace,
Lulu

This is a good reminder that typed words don't always express our true intent or meaning.

A lot of times we nail it and write exactly what we are thinking and it's received the same, other times they are misunderstood from our original intent.

I've done it too. Clarifying helps so much.Getting to know one another in some manner helps further.

I would be so lost right now with out the support of everyone in this group. We don't care where you are at DX or not DX if you feel like you need this group's support than you are in the right place..
Here is the one place you don't ever have to worry about being judged not for any reason.
Here is a Safe Haven for all who want to join this group...
So if you don't have a DX yet, you couldn't have found a place with more Info... or acceptances...
Sending out my love & Hugs to all of you.{{{{~!~}}}}
