Read "Treatment for Lyme, Limbolanders please read" posted on March 1, 2011.
It was posted from someone who came to this board thinking she had MS and had A LOT of MS-type symptoms. Well, it turned out to be lyme. She has a great post about the experience and her recovery.
Read it, I think you could learn a lot.

Thanks Lulu...I will try to hang in there...at least I have a good place to vent : )
Bob - Thanks for the info. I am so frustrated. I was so happy when I got the positive test for Lyme's, but nothing seems to be matching up right. Unless I am one of those extremely rare cases.
I am going to see what my Neuro says and I think I am still going to go to a Lyme specialist too. I just need to find one in my area
Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto the spirochete that causes Lyme's Disease can cause neuroborreliosis. This can cause white matter lesions in the CNS. It can cause them in spinal cord white matter, but it is not common. Once you have been treated with antibiotics, the lesions should resolve. If new lesions appear or old lesions increase in size, another cause should be investigated.
"Acute myelitis accounts for 4 to 5 percent of all cases of neuroborreliosis"

Hi Sue, and welcome back from driving yourself crazy...... it happens to all of us for a while and I'm so glad you had the good sense to take a break.
Lyme doesn't include spinal lesions, from what I know. I wish I could tell you differently. I'm glad yo uposted over on the Lyme forum as well - they are a very wise group there.
The 25th is only a week away - you hang in there, ok?
take care,
Lulu
