Hi everyone. I am desperate for help. I have had pain in my stomach region for five years give or take a few months here and there. I have had my gallbladder out two years ago. Two endoscopies and two colonoscopies. I went on a gluten free diet after having food allergy testing and was found to be severely allergic to wheat. That helped for a few months. I was diagnosed with MS about 15 years ago. It has given me double vision ,eye pain and problems with my left leg. I considered myself blessed. Well, all along I can't figure out why someone hasn't been able to get rid of my terrible stomach pain. Can't wear anything but loose elastic pants. Stomach feels bloated and tight all the time. Could this be my MS? I would appreciate any help. Mb
Mine is still going strong at 3 weeks now, hopefully not much longer.
I had my first (and last so far) experience with the MS hug in 2010. Terrible. Felt like I was being squeezed around the rib cage area. For a person who is claustrophobic, it's not a good feeling.
The only thing that helped was wrapping my trunk area with a long ace bandage. It seems counterintuitive but it helped. The MS hug lasted for about a month.

I recently had my first experience that lasted about 2.5 weeks. It was not annoying. It was painful. I hope it goes away fast.
I'VE GONE THROUGH SO MANY BRAS, IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY. HOW LONG DOES YOURS USUALLY LINGER? IT'S BEEN 2 WEEKS ALREADY. THE LAST ONE LASTED ABOUT 3 MONTHS. :(
Hi, I would say that you may be experiencing the MS Hug, but, it usually is quite painful to me, so not sure about the squeeze corset feeling, Sorry !!!
Hope you figure out what it is, maybe you should call your specialist and have a chat with them. But, it does sound suspicious , for sure.
Hope that helps,
Candy
I'm in the middle of it right now and it is like having a too tight corset or too tight sports bra on that's just squeezing the crap out of you. I have transverse myelitis so I am partially numb over most of my body right now so I don't know how much it normally hurts but it is annoying as hell.
