NEW GROUP - Live Events for MS

Lately  there have been many announcements about coming events -and it is important that we let everyone know that these are happening because not everyone gets the notices.  This includes talks, presentations and teleconferences and webcasts.

Several of us have been posting these announcements, but our MS forum has also been VERY active and these posts tend to slip quickly to page 2.  I've been trying to figure a way to keep these notices in view without continually *bumping* them.  Besides, I get tired of seeing my face on page 1.

Soooooo.....

I  started a new *group* here at Medhelp - remember groups are different than forums.  The group is called LIVE EVENTS FOR MS, and my hope is everyone will join this group and check it regularly for announcements of educational events that might be of interest.

I will continue to post the announcements here, and then also copy them to the LIVE EVENTS group.  Then I can let those notices slip into oblivion here on the MS Forum.

Also, I hope you will do the same and share any event notices you have with the community.

If you join this new group, it will automatically be  listed on your page at the upper right side under *My Shortcuts" for easy access.

The LIVE EVENTS group is -

I hope this helps.

Thanks Lu, that worked. No wonder I couldn't figure it out, it's right at the top of the page in clear view......

....I'll probably have to ask again the next time i want to join a group...

Mike -

if you go to the group page, I believe you will see a green arrow marked "join" located at the top of the page by the group name.  Since I already belong, I can't tell you that for sure, but I believe that is how it works.

You can always read the notes without being a member of the group.  You  just can't add anything without being a member.

I have now posted an assortment of events - 12 or so- to give everyone a sampling of what is available.
