Lulu,

The Social Security Administration is simply having a Public Hearing asking for feedback on how easy access is.. This is standard procedure for the Federal Government agencies by law. I have participated in such hearings on other matters. This is a good time for those having trouble with accessing SSA to voice their concerns and to offer ideas on how to improve things.

The NMSS usually does not get involved in anything unless it is part of one of their public policy goals. I do not see how this fits but I could be wrong. Usually when I make a public comment at something like this I speak as a private citizen and not a member of the NMSS.

Hi - can you take a minute and explain the significance of this link?  I am not familiar with this format of asking for comments about the government's accessibility.

Also, it mentions groups being able to present at these hearings - do you know if NMSS or other MS orgs are registered?
